This is the end.

The Invisible Potter (affectionately referred to as TIP) is a story that I first started and completed on Quotev. The chapters were shorter and I updated constantly, making the algorithm push my story to the front and gained over 30k reads. Here, the algorithm doesn't work that way, but oh well. I'm still glad to share the slightly edited version of my story with the Wattpad community as well!

I wrote about Anne because I wanted to show people that many (not all) Draco stories that attempted to redeem him only made the OC stupid and Draco toxic, especially the ones that attempt to make the readers sympathize with his Death Eater status. This time around, with a story similar to that (on purpose, I may add), I hope Anne's actions were understandable. She wanted to be seen, to be loved, and after she realised how terrible Draco was, she did everything she could to make up for it — even if it meant almost losing her life.

This isn't a love story; yes, Anne and Susan are beautiful, and I love them, but the end showcases Anne with her good friends, loved ones, and shows that she can move on with this shit show. She didn't need to do all of what she did, losing her life for a mistake she made as a clueless teenager. In fact, she was reckless and did go too far, but not everyone has a perfect character development arc.

You do NOT have to forgive your abuser, EVER. Anne just chose to, and her forgiveness means not attacking Draco. Her forgiveness is different from another person's definition, which is fine, but that does not mean that you need to. You do not, and as someone who has had people wrong me, I chose not to forgive them either, and that is fine!

Anne's story does not need to perfectly parallel yours. You do not need to fix someone, attractive or not. It is up to THEM to take the journey and improve their mental health. You can help support them, but it is not your duty to change them.
